i think

i feel lost, unmotivated, confused with no passion or direction at the moment

We all feel that way from time to time. I have two ways of dealing with that feeling. The Asian way: dwell on the negativity; feel terrible; acknowledge that it is a part of who I am. The feeling eventually subsides on its own. Then the American way: figure out a plan of action to get out of the funk; execute the plan; get busy, busy, busy.

What I am saying is that there is an emotional and logical element to approaching everything in life. I think it's OK to feel miserable as long as you realize that you can't be miserable forever.

Also, don't feel pressure like you need to have your entire life in order right now. (I'm still trying to figure things out in mine.) The important thing is to keep doing the things that you love and make you happy. (That may not always be what your folks want, but you have to know how to market and sell your plans to them and get them on board.)

it's ok to feel like that. it would be weird (and not human) if you were happy all the time.

just hang in there, it'll pass
